Welcome Brian Hempel!
Brian has been working with IHS for almost six months now, and I am just now officially anouncing it here. Sorry Brian, your hard work and service is very much appreciated. Brian came to IHS as Bioinformatics grad from Michigan Tech, with very little exposure to Ruby or Rails, but he dove in head first, and has sorted through a far amount of source code, written some documentation for MongoMapper, created a gem and a MongoMapper plugin, contributed back to the open source community in a number of ways, and has completed an incredible amount of Rails work for IHS. And on top of that he is enjoyable to work with! I am very proud to have Brian working with IHS and can only imagine the places he will go!
